March 30 is the big season kick off at St Anthony's.

    Here are the event details (all hype aside - this is always a fun night).
    Day: Friday March 30, 2007
    Time: 7:00 PM
    Location : St Anthony's Soccer Club - 523 St. Anthony Street (off Preston St.)

    No year is quite like any other at OISC

    Curious about programming? Want to know what exactly we have in store for you this year for training, social and special events? What's new and exciting?

    Take a look (excuse the visual - I am talking skating now). You'll know what "24x24" means, and "Legs of Steel", "Base builder" and, yes, "Marathon madness"!


    Eddy - Eddy - Eddy

    Eddy has cooked up a fresh batch of skating skills and drills. Dinner will be served over several courses:

    1. Classic Stride
    2. Cross overs
    3. Quadruple Push
    4. Race readiness and finishing flair
    Cost: $150 for non-members. The deal is even sweeter if you become a club member: receive a 50% discount! At $75 this special event is an amazing value.

    For skaters at all levels - but those who have never skated should take lessons before hand

    Venue: the NRC campus (montreal Road at Blair). A catered lunch will be provided on both days, and when the day of learning and skating is over, come out and relax with everyone for an evening of dining and dancing at the Lonestar restaurant. The weekend wraps up Sunday afternoon with a fun race, where you can try out your new found skills.

    Time: 11:45 am (what a treat!)
    What: 21.1 km half marathon
    Where: Queen Elizabeth Drive, Ottawa
