How it works

OISC annual awards are presented at our AGM, held in the fall of each year.

Four OISC awards (contribution; inline skater; executive and president's award) are enshrined in our constitution.

The entire membership can nominate candidates for the first two, the executive nominates among its members for the third and the fourth award is presented at the President's discretion.

All other awards serve to recognize each year's memorable, unusual or excellent achievements in a number of categories. Open nominations are encouraged.

The board of directors reviews nominations and votes on recipients at the last board meeting prior to the AGM.
